Our restaurant, pier and visitor's area is located on perhaps the most historic point of the Lower Gulf Coast, Pirate's Landing sits on a bluff that once served as a military fort and trading center in the early 1800s. Be sure to see the State Historical marker on our premises.

Our waterfront restaurant sits at the entrance to Queen Isabella Causeway and overlooks the calm Laguna Madre Bay with a great view of South Padre Island. The restaurant building is designed in the flair of an old Pirate castle and a perfect destination for the entire family. Wall paintings, nautical decor and pirate figures add to the overall dining experience. Cuisine: seafood, sandwiches, salads. Daily lunch specials. Also features a fishing pier, Pirate cruise ship, shopping and more for family fun.

Pirate's Landing is a favorite dining location for local residents, summer vacationers, Winter Texans and Spring Breakers.

“We arrived late for dinner that night. One of their last customers of the evening. The staff was great. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. I had the grilled tuna steak salad which a great deal for the money. Full size steak with a large salad. There are also a lot of good photo opts. They are right on the water. We will good back again.”

I am a local.  I spend the entire day traveling South Padre and Port Isabel.  When someone says "Let's go to lunch" we 9 times out of 10 will choose Pirates Landing.  The food is awesome and the price is right.  I often find myself back there for dinner with my wife.  "The" best restaurant in our area by far.

We could not be more impressed with your staff and menu.  We spent hours at the local museums and stopped in for dinner.  It was wonderful.  We will be back.

This is a family style restaurant in a choice location, built to resemble an old fort. It opens daily at 11 a.m. for lunch and dinner. We had lunch here while enjoying a magnificent view of the Laguna Madre with the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway and South Padre Island as a backdrop. The food and service were both good. As an added bonus, after eating here we were allowed to take a free stroll on the adjoining fishing pier - the longest in Texas.

We had the Fish Po' Boy sandwich: Fresh grouper, fried and served on a homemade roll with tarter sauce and waffle fries, for $6.95. Yum, yum!

My husband went deep sea fishing and then we took the fish here to have it cooked up. We had 1/2 pan fried, and 1/2 blackened. The fish was soooooooo good. Even my kids who are quite picky eaters ate more than I could believe. They have pirate statues around the front and entrance. Much fun for the kids.
